Kick concurrent viewers crossed 11% of total live-streaming viewership in Q1 2026, up from 6.4% in Q1 2025. The 70/30 revenue split (Kick takes 5%, creator keeps 95% on subs) is doing exactly what it was designed to do — pull mid-tier creators away from Twitch.
The structural challenge for Kick is still moderation reputation and category breadth. The platform is heavy on slots, casino and stream sniping content, and the gaming category numbers — while growing — still trail Twitch and YouTube Gaming by a wide margin in the 18-24 demographic.
