SBI Group launched the SBI Visa Crypto Card in Japan on May 1, 2026. The product turns everyday Visa spending into BTC, ETH or XRP rewards at the user choice. Earn structure: 1% base, 2% travel, 3% on convenience-store and Suica top-ups.

The Japan-only constraint matters. Regulatory clarity is the reason this product can ship at competitive earn rates in Japan and not in the US — the FSA has had clean stablecoin and tokenized-rewards rules for two years.
