Solana Firedancer hits mainnet — the second client is real

Firedancer is now serving 8% of Solana mainnet stake. The client diversity milestone unlocks the next round of throughput improvements.

Solana Firedancer hit mainnet at scale this month — the Jump Crypto client is now running on roughly 8% of total stake. The client diversity milestone is the structural unlock the chain has been waiting on; throughput improvements that were previously gated on single-client risk are now back on the roadmap.

Frankendancer was the bridge that made this transition smooth. Pure Firedancer share will grow through Q3 as operators get comfortable. The throughput target — 1M TPS sustained — is back in credible territory for late 2026.
