Riot expanded Valorant Game Changers in 2026 to a full international circuit with a Champions tier final. Prize pool across all GC events crosses $3M for the year. The structural impact is bigger than the dollars — GC players now have a direct competitive pathway into mixed-roster VCT teams in a way that did not exist three years ago.

The pathway change has produced real callups. Three GC players moved to mainline VCT rosters in the off-season, two of them as starters. The audience has followed — Game Changers Champions broadcast viewership is up 64% YoY.
