The women CS esports circuit hit a new milestone in 2026 — total prize pool across all women-only events crosses $4M for the year, a 3.2x increase over 2024. CCT Women, ESL Impact and the new Saudi-backed showmatch series are the three pillars; FURIA Female and ENCE Athena are the breakout teams.

The structural shift is the developmental pathway. Top women players from CCT and ESL Impact are now scrim-partnered with mainline pro teams in a way that did not exist three years ago, and the IGL pipeline from women circuits to mixed Tier 2 is producing real callups.
